Frequently asked questions
Yes. Since 2011, any Walloon property put up for sale or rent must have a valid PEB certificate as soon as the advertisement is published. The absence of a certificate exposes the owner to an administrative fine.
At Energy PEB, a PEB certificate costs €165 incl. VAT for a studio under 45 m², €250 incl. VAT for a flat, €310 incl. VAT for a terraced house and €350 incl. VAT for a detached house. The price is all-inclusive: on-site visit, measurements, document analysis, data entry and delivery of the official certificate.
A residential PEB certificate is valid for 10 years, unless works significantly change the home's energy performance. In that case, a new certificate reflects the works carried out.
Energy PEB can take over the completion of your PEB declaration. We collect the available documents, complete the final declaration and submit it to the administration so that your permit can be closed properly and you can sell or let the property without delay.
